Pole withCamille

Strong technique, thoughtful movement, and a style that feels like you.
Poling since 2012Certified instructor since 2015@camillepoles ↗
Hi, I'm Camille

I started pole in 2012, became a certified instructor in 2015, and somehow, after all these years, I still learn something new almost every time I touch the pole. I don’t think that ever stops. I hope it doesn’t.

Not always a new trick. Sometimes it’s a different pathway, a smoother transition, a subtle shift in timing, or a detail I’ve never noticed before. That’s what keeps me coming back, and it’s what I hope every student gets to experience too.

How I teach

My teaching goes beyond checking tricks off a list. It’s rooted in strong technique, thoughtful movement, and an understanding of why things work, not just how to do them. I believe solid fundamentals create more freedom, more confidence, and more room to develop a style that feels authentic to you.

Whether you’re brand new or you’ve been dancing for years, I’d love to help you discover what your movement can become.

Embody Studios

First design job · first pole class

My first graphic design job was at a pole and aerial studio (Embody Studios… IYKYK) back in 2012, and it’s basically what led me to take my first pole class. Because I worked at the studio, there was no avoiding it. A class here and there turned into a couple of classes a day, and eventually I was spending almost every waking hour at both Embody locations: doing my job as the designer and marketing manager (we had a full-on retail store too), then taking as many classes as I could as soon as I clocked out.

2015

Certified

Instructor · up to 12 classes a week

In 2015, I got certified as an instructor, and the rest is history. I eventually taught up to 12 classes a week, plus private lessons and competition training. When Embody closed, I kept teaching at 5 different studios and kept the pole life going. I even competed once (and never again, haha).

2015–20

Designer by day

Pole instructor by night

Mind you, this was all happening while I was working a full-time design job. Designer by day and pole instructor by night. It was exhausting, but I loved every minute of it. After-class training sessions that went ’til midnight became routine. It was addicting, it was empowering, and it was like therapy… there’s truly nothing like it.

2020

Mom life

Pole on pause

I kept teaching all the way until I was about 4 months pregnant, then I finally had to stop. In 2020, my daughter arrived, and mom life was a whole other beast that needed all my focus and energy, so the pole life went on pause.

Now

Back on the pole

Teaching again

But now, I finally have time to get back into my favorite thing: pole. And yes, I’m teaching again! These days it’s designer and pole dancer in the morning, then mom the rest of the day lol.

Low Flow Pole Essentials

There’s more to low flow than staying close to the floor.

Low Flow Pole Essentials is where technique meets exploration. This class focuses on building confidence through deliberate movement rather than learning a full routine. We’ll break down individual low flow skills, transitions, pathways, and mini combinations while exploring the details that make movement feel smooth, controlled, and connected.

Expect a mix of basework, floorwork, grounded pole movement, and creative sequencing designed to improve body awareness, fluidity, and movement quality. Whether you’re learning a skill for the first time or refining one you’ve been practicing for years, the details are what make it click.

This class is open to all levels. Progressions and modifications are offered throughout class so you can work at a pace that matches your experience.

What to wear

Leggings are welcome, but please bring shorts in case certain skills require skin grip. Pole heels and socks are optional. Knee pads are highly recommended, and so is Dry Hands (or a similar grip aid).

Pole Tricks & Transitions

Strong tricks begin with strong technique.

This class is designed to build the foundation that makes every skill easier, safer, and more consistent. We’ll focus on developing strength, body awareness, and movement quality through foundational tricks, transitions, conditioning, and technical drills on both static and spin pole. Rather than just checking tricks off a list, we’ll explore the details behind each movement so you understand how your body creates efficient, controlled technique.

As you progress, we’ll begin introducing grounded invert mechanics, invert conditioning, and more challenging transitions to prepare you for aerial movement and higher-level classes.

Advanced students are always welcome. Progressions and modifications are provided throughout class, making this a great opportunity to refine fundamentals, clean up technique, and reinforce movement quality.

What to wear

Please wear shorts, as most tricks require direct skin contact for grip. Dry Hands (or a similar grip aid) is recommended.

Pole Flow’Ography

There’s more to flow than memorizing choreography.

Pole Flow’Ography is where technique meets creativity, and every movement has a purpose. In this class, we’ll explore the technique behind every transition, pathway, and movement so you leave understanding why the choreography works, not just what comes next. My goal isn’t just for you to leave knowing the choreography. It’s for you to understand the movement well enough to make it your own.

Each class teaches a full choreography while building the details that make movement feel deliberate. We’ll break down timing, musicality, pathways, body mechanics, and movement quality so you can develop your own style while strengthening the fundamentals that support it.

Expect a mix of basework, low flow, floorwork, dance movement, pole tricks, and seamless transitions designed to help you move with more confidence, fluidity, and control.

What to wear

Leggings are welcome, but please bring shorts in case certain tricks require skin grip. Pole heels and socks are optional. Knee pads are highly recommended, and so is Dry Hands (or a similar grip aid).

Prerequisites

Although this is an All Levels class, it’s not intended for first-time pole students. You should already feel comfortable with foundational pole skills, including basic grips, spins, climbs, pirouettes, and moving confidently around the pole. The choreography often includes longer movement sequences and intermediate transitions that require coordination, body awareness, and endurance.

I recommend taking 6 to 8 beginner classes before jumping into Flow’Ography. You’ll get much more out of the experience once the fundamentals feel familiar, so you can focus on movement quality, musicality, and expression instead of just keeping up with the choreography.

Pole Tricks & Transitions

Advanced tricks are built on refined fundamentals.

This class is designed for experienced pole dancers ready to challenge themselves while continuing to sharpen technique. We’ll focus on aerial movement, advanced inversions, leg hangs, dynamic transitions, climbs, and combo work on both static and spin pole. Alongside learning new skills, we’ll break down body mechanics, execution, and efficient pathways so your movement becomes stronger, cleaner, and more precise.

Expect a combination of technical drills, conditioning, endurance training, and longer trick sequences that emphasize control, fluidity, and confidence in the air.

What to wear

Please wear shorts, as most tricks require direct skin contact for grip. Dry Hands (or a similar grip aid) is recommended.

Prerequisites

The only prerequisite: you can invert from the floor. If you’re not inverting aerially yet, this class will keep conditioning your invert technique until you get there. If you already are, we’ll keep building from there.

Workshops · 4 labs · 60 or 90 min

Pick your lab.

Four workshops I can bring to your studio, 60 or 90 minutes (your call). Tap each flyer for the full rundown.Swipe to pick a lab, the full rundown’s right below.

How it runs

Every lab can run 60 or 90 minutes, your call, and starts with a quick warm-up. I like to have the room 15 minutes before so students can arrive early to warm up, change, or get settled, and we’ll pack up and head out within 15 minutes after so your studio stays on schedule.

Filming is welcome throughout, and students only post footage of themselves unless everyone in the frame is okay with it.

Booking a lab

Pick the lab (or labs) you want, choose 60 or 90 minutes, and send me a few dates you’d suggest. Sign-ups (and payments) can go through your studio or through me, whatever’s easiest for you. Either way, I’ll always promote it right here on this page and link it to wherever your sign-up lives.

Pricing + policies

I have my own pricing, schedule, and policies (like a two-student minimum and a 48-hour cancellation window), but I’m always happy to go with how your studio runs things.

If students sign up and pay through your studio, we’ll work out a split that feels fair for both of us. Just ask for my rates when you reach out.

How to prepare for class

01

What to wear

Pole tricks need direct skin contact to grip the pole, so please wear shorts (or pole shorts) made with a stretchy material. Leggings or yoga pants sometimes work for the whole class, but bring shorts just in case. Heels (Pleasers or something similar), knee pads, and socks (any length) are all optional. ALSO, don’t forget to bring water!

02

Important tips

Thoroughly wash off all lotions and oils (hands, arms, and legs) before class, since they’ll keep you from gripping the pole. Without good grip, every trick and spin gets harder. Take off all rings before class so your jewelry doesn’t get scratched or bent. Most pole dancers use Dry Hands to keep their hands (and anywhere else that touches the pole) residue-free, which helps your grip even more. It’s not required, but you’re welcome to grab a bottle and use it in class.
