How Does It Work?

Think of it as a monthly subscription service. It’s paid up front each month in order to reserve a specific amount of hours in my design schedule that are allocated to your brand. Essentially, you are paying for the designer’s time versus a specific service. Membership clients gain brand consistency across all projects, priority access on my design schedule, quick turnaround times, and avoid the overhead of hiring a full-time designer.

Design Membership Terms

  • What Services Are Included?

    The services included under the design retainer include: print collateral, digital collateral, social media graphics, product packaging, and website updates. The services not included (but may be purchased separately) are Visual Identity Design and Web Design (from scratch). The membership program also does not include fees for additional costs like stock photos, font licensing, etc.

  • No Commitment Required

    There is no commitment required. The membership program is flexible and charged on a month-to-month basis. Additional discounts will be added to clients who do choose to commit to at least 3 months at a time.

  • Your Allocated Hours

    You can choose your monthly allocated hours (from 5 to 40 hours). The price per month will be a discounted rate from my standard hourly rate. If additional time is needed for the month, you will be made aware before committing to pay extra. Overage in hours each month will be billed at my standard hourly rate.

  • Payment Schedule

    Payment will be due on the 1st of each month, for the month ahead (you will receive an invoice a week before). The invoice will include the monthly retainer rate for that month and any additional charges from the previous month.

  • Unused Hours Expire

    Unused hours will expire at the end of each month and do not roll over. I’ll let you know if we are running close to hitting your monthly hours; if additional time is needed for the month, you will be made aware before committing to pay extra. Overage in hours each month will be billed at my standard hourly rate.
